Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Remember we will not be meeting in December. Don’t forget to sign up for the Christmas Holiday Party in January. This will be a time to remise about 2009 and a chance to get to meet the New 2010 AANW Board. Please complete the signup sheet in the newsletter to attend. Also new meeting location for 2010. We will be meeting at 2750 Ramada Way. Appetizers will be served at 6:00PM with meeting starting at 6:30PM. December is the time of the year we mail you out due notices. Please pay your dues to renew membership for another year to keep up your membership benefits. AANW is an organization of landlords and managers and by belonging to AANW we can work together on issues that are arising in our industry every day. We need all members to be active in the organization and in the industry. It is all of us working together that makes a difference. We need to be a voice locally, on the state level and national level. We supply a very special service to many communities. Attention all maintenance workers and landlords who may repaint or renovate where lead-based paint may be encountered (pre-1978 buildings) in learning how to work in a Lead Safe manner. This class meets the EPA new criteria for the policy that is coming into effect April 2010. Sign up today to attend Thursday, January 14th, 2010 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Class size is limited to 40 people. Cost is $260 and you register directly with Milwaukee Lead and place to be announced. See flyer in newsletter to register for this training. A must for any landlord with a pre 1978 buildings.
