Dear Members and Business Partners:
2010 is a very exciting year for AANW. AANW will be celebrating its 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY. All of us landlords and managers need to continue to support one another to remain a strong front for all the issues we face as property owners.
AANW is here to lead the way in Leasing, Learning and Leading the Way.
Everyone should soon be receiving or has received in the mail your 2010 due notices. Sorry for the delay but we had some changes that caused a delay. We also have a small questionnaire that is part of the renewal notices that we need everyone to complete. Please complete and return immediately.
We will be meeting at Ramada Plaza at 2750 Ramada Way in Green Bay. We will have a networking time at beginning of meeting and will be serving pizza and soda starting at 6:00 and meeting will now start at 6:30. Hope to see all members February 10th.
Members we also have some special bonuses for attending meetings.
When you attend a meeting you will be able to enter your name in drawing for one free year of AANW membership (winner will pay WAA dues portion).
Also to show the dedication and importance of education AANW will be sending one of our members to the WAA Conference in Lacrosse in October 2010. (Note winner will be responsible for transportation and lodging.) To be eligible at every meeting you attend you may sign up and at June’s meeting we will announce the winner.
It is also important that all members inform other landlords of our great organization. When you bring a guest to a meeting you will receive a special reward. We will also be continuing the AANW Referral Dough program that if the guest joins AANW you will be entitled to $10 certificate that can be used to purchase forms and attend seminars.
Once a month we will be going over a form. This month is 2009 Rent Certificate that your tenant may ask you to complete so they can claim their rent on their taxes.
Did you know that some of your WAA dues go to a lobbyist? Yes, we have a lobbyist Gary Goyke who lives and works for all of us in Madison. Once a year he invites all of us members to the State Capital in Madison to meet our legislatures and discuss our issues. On Wednesday March 17th is the day he has invited each of us to go to Madison. This is a very important day for it gives you the opportunity to talk to your state representatives about issues that affect you. If you want to be heard you need to attend.
Everyone who attended this year Holiday Party and Installation of Officers had a great time. Remember what happens at the Holiday Party stays at Holiday Party so you need to attend next year to find out more…

AANW is planning a membership drive for Wednesday March 3rd. If you know of a landlord who is not a member please bring them to the event. More to be announced. We are looking for sponsors for the event so if interested please contact Kathy Haines.
