  The Apartment Association of Northeast Wisconsin and the Fox Valley Apartment Association are proud to present the 2026 Fall Landlord Bootcamp!

  Tristan Pettit is a real estate attorney who authors many of the Wisconsin Legal Blank forms governing rental properties. He has traveled across the state to deliver these Bootcamp events for years, and they consistently receive outstanding feedback from those who attend.

  A healthy rental housing market depends on both providers and residents understanding their rights and responsibilities.   ★ BREAKING NEWS — In a landmark victory for Wisconsin's rental housing industry, the Wisconsin Supreme Court issued its final ruling in Koble Investments v. Marquardt in June 2026, reversing the 2024 Court of Appeals decision that had sent shockwaves through our industry.

  While the Supreme Court's ruling is a significant win for Wisconsin rental housing providers, managers, and our residents, Koble serves as a powerful reminder of how critical it is to operate with proper, updated rental forms and in full compliance with Wis. Statute 704 – Landlord-Tenant Law and ATCP 134. The vulnerabilities that plaintiffs sought to exploit throughout the Koble litigation were rooted in lease deficiencies and compliance gaps — the very issues Attorney Pettit will help you understand and address at this Bootcamp.

  Given all of the above, this is a Bootcamp event you cannot afford to miss.

  Attorney Pettit will help fill in the blanks when it comes to staying in compliance with Wis. Statute 704 – Landlord-Tenant Law and ATCP 134. He will also share a host of best practices that every rental property owner, manager, and investor can benefit from — including practical guidance shaped by the latest court and DATCP decisions.
