WE DO NOT MEET THE MONTHS OF DECEMBER AND JULY

WE ARE BACK TO IN PERSON MEETINGS!!!   PLEASE JOIN US!

Our February meeting will be an open forrum discussing how board members and members advertise their units.  Join us to give your input and find out how others find new tenants.

Dave Mielke with Utility Services, LLC will also speak about what his company can offer landlords.  His company splits jointly metered utilities, to individually billed, for each unit in a complex, then bills the tenant for their percentage.

Rick with ServPro will be our Business Partner Spotlight for the night.  Visit his table before and after the general meeting to find out what his company can offer!

Our March meeting will feature Jeff Pralle, WAA board member.  He will educate us on how WAA (the state association) helps us as members.

We will be reviewing how to use the 5 day and 14 day non payment of rent notice.

Our April meeting will feature Scott Folsom of Folsom Insurance.

We will be reviewing how and when to use a 28 or 30 day notice.

May and June meeting speaker will be a representative from ICS.

The last few years have brought many changes to how we operate our businesses. This is one time we have been asked to be a part of that change. For our May 11th meeting ICS (Integrated Community Services) have asked for all landlords to come voice your opinions, concerns, and ideas on the housing voucher program. This will be a listening only session for them. They have asked for all honest feedback-positive and negative, from all landlords those who currently participate in the program and also those who no longer do. With this information they would be coming back to speak in June to give us ideas on how they will improve the program and/or to present a pilot program created from the this information.

With us helping trying to solve these problems we become part of the solution to the issues we and those who need the program face. We also have a rare opportunity to have a hand in how the program is directed.

Please join us in May and June.

We do not have a general meeting the month of July as many of us are vacationing and occupied with summer activities.  Watch for more information as there is talk of a possible picnic event simply to enjoy the outdoors and get to know each other.

We will resume regular meeting in August.
